Photography vs Apparatus

Modern photographic devices play an important role in the creation of photographs.  To understand the photographs we produce implies understanding what occurs inside the camera.  In my attempt to challenge the authority of modern cameras and their role in the creation of images, I experiment with the misuse of the camera by creating images of an illusory world without any concrete figuration.  My photographs are not filtered through a lens or a digital sensor, but are images that are projected and recorded on the negatives by a small pinhole.
