Artomata

The transmutation of images into data and computational language forces us to have as an interlocutor a machine that decodes and makes visible the images we observe on a daily basis. Digital culture evolves and transforms hand in hand with technology, as does the way in which we decode the meaning of images or the way in which we express ourselves through them. Artomata is a group of artists who, through the use of AI, seek to subvert the idea that machines are autonomous media in the creation of art, thus seeking to determine boundaries between "intelligence" and "consciousness". Through AI, artists create artworks with abstract and irreproducible characters, which revolve around the human intelligence of their authors.
