19 Days

On Friday, April 13, nineteen days after they were kidnapped on the border between Ecuador and Colombia, the death of Javier Ortega, Paul Rivas and Efrain Segarra, members of the journalistic team of the Ecuadorian newspaper El Comercio, were finally confirmed. They were killed by the Oliver Sinisterra Front, under the command of Walter Patricio Artízala Vernaza, aka Guacho, the leader of the Farc group of dissidents. The series of 8 frames are a tribute to the memory of my colleagues murdered on the border of Ecuador with Colombia expressing pain, terror and impotence before an act of pure brutality against the life of a human being.
