eyeless

Each mortal victim, product of violence and human hatred turn everyday spaces into crime scenes, where time erases the traces of blood and terror of the victims of leaders and ideologies that use as a central pillar the extermination of anyone who thinks differently.  One of these crime scenes is the Terezín Concentration Camp, better known by the Nazis in World War II as "Spa for Jews". My project seeks, through experimental photography, to portray the Terezín concentration camp using as a physical filter a Nazi propaganda photograph taken in Terezín (The Brundibar Opera Children), where I symbolically photographed the concentration camp through the eyes of the victims of the horrors of war, looking for images that help to express the ambivalences between the concentration camp and the "Spa for Jews".   Finally, I seek to generate the reflection of the viewers, on how public opinion is easily manipulated by false images and propaganda, where a photograph is an evidence and lie at the same time; we live through images created with a single purpose, to keep us blind and critical to reality. we are without eyes.
